Obituary of Mary Margaret Graeber

Mary Margaret Graeber of Cortlandt Manor entered into eternal life on September 25, 2022 at Yorktown Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Crompond, NY at the age of 91.

Mary was born July 27, 1931, in Jersey City, NJ to Howard and Margaret (Child) Laramee.  

She married Carl R. Graeber in 1955 and worked as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years.  She worked at Peekskill Hospital in Peekskill, NY, retiring in 1994. 

Mary was a beloved member of St. Columbanus Church in Peekskill and volunteered her time to the parish. 

Mary dedicated her life to caring for her patients, and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  

Mary was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Carl R. Graeber, brother Edward Laramee and sister Barbara Sylver.  

She is survived by her children Diane (Robert) Skovan, Robert (Michele) Graeber, and Laura Graeber. 

She will be lovingly remembered by her sisters Nancy Badstein, Margaret Rafferty, Florence Hanyok, and her brother Howard Laramee. 

She will also be missed by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2022, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Columbanus Church, 122 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
