Obituary of Emily M. Kilmer

On Friday, October 14, 2022, Emily M. Kilmer, Loving wife, mother, grandmother, & great-grandmother passed away peacefully with her family around her. Emily was 78 years old. 

Emily was born in Ossining, N.Y. on June 25, 1943, to the late Albert & Marjorie Carlson. 

Emily attended and graduated from Ossining High School, where she met and married her high school sweetheart Charles R. Kilmer in 1961. 

Emily was a lifelong Yankee fan, she loved riding with Charles on their Harley Trike, Traveling, and of course loved and told good jokes. 

But most of all, Emily enjoyed the time she spent with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. 

Emily is survived by her loving husband Charles Kilmer, two sons; Richard (Kelly) Kilmer and David Kilmer, two sisters; Marjorie Carlson and Barbara Provincer, Grandchildren; Rebecca (Erik) Brierley, Jonathan (Krissie) Kilmer, Richard (Christina) Kilmer, Jessica Kilmer, and Kaylee Kilmer, Great Grandchildren; Madison Kilmer and Ella Brierley 

Emily was predeceased by her son John Kilmer. 

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, and on Thursday, October 20, 2022, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday, October 21, 2022, at 10:15 am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Hawkes Avenue, Ossining, NY.
