Joseph D. Davis, Jr. of Montrose, NY passed away on January 4, 2016. He was 74 years old. Mr. Davis was a Court Clerk for the Supreme Court in White Plains, NY for thirty-four years prior to retiring. He was born on May 15, 1941 in Peekskill, NY to Joseph D. and Helen Hoffman Davis, Sr. On August 17, 1963 he married Dolores Kennedy at St. Mary’s Church in Katonah, NY. Joseph was a Life Member of the Elks Lodge 744 in Peekskill. He is survived by his wife Dolores Davis of Montrose, two sons; Thomas Davis of Fishkill and Kevin Davis of Montrose and three grandchildren; Briana and Kayla Davis and Kevin Davis, Jr. Also surviving are several cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, January 11, 2016, at 10am, St. Christopher’s Church Buchanan, NY. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
