Obituary of Kenneth Faughnan

Kenneth Faughnan entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 18, 2023, he was 58 years of age.

Kenneth was born Dec 10th, 1964 to the late Lawrence Faughnan and Joan Feery Faughnan, in Peekskill NY.

He attended Assumption School in Peekskill and graduated from Franciscan High School in Mohegan Lake, NY. He then went on to attend SUNY Oneonta in upstate NY.

Ken began his career in Law Enforcement with the City of Peekskill, NY, as a Park Ranger, then attaining Police Officer certification. He went on to loyally serve the citizens of Peekskill for 20 years, retiring at the rank of Sergeant in 2008. He was a former member of the Peekskill Community Volunteer Ambulance Corp.

He is survived by his children; Kenneth Scott, 34 of Mahopac Falls, NY, Shannon Faughnan, 25 of Beacon, NY, and Keeley Faughnan, 24, of Millbrook, NY, his sister; Maureen (Bob) Nelson, of Cumming, GA, brothers; Lawrence(Teresa) Faughnan of Fuquay-Varina, NC, and Christopher (Lisa) Faughnan of Peekskill NY, his former

wives and close friends Kimberly Purdy and Kimberley Ferguson, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celebration of Life Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 2:00 pm to 7:00 pm

Chapel Service will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, June 21, 2023.
