Obituary of Brian Douglas Conklin, Sr.

Brian D. Conklin, Sr. passed away on August 4, 2023.  Brian spent his life dedicating his time to his family and his community.  He was a member of the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Disabled American Veterans Association, and Boy Scouts of America leader.  He also loved time in his yard, mowing the lawn, gardening, and working on numerous house projects.

Brian also loved to travel with his family, laugh, and watch people on the boardwalk.  Brian adored his grandchildren, and they adored him.  He spent as much time as possible with them spoiling them, never saying no. 

Brian is survived by his wife, Marlene, his daughter Holly, his son Brian (Christina), and his grandchildren Kate and Sara.

He had an incredible life surrounded by friends and family and will be missed by many.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Funeral Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard during visitation.
