On Thursday, September 14, 2023, God called Quinto Pertelesi into eternal rest.  Quinto was born on January 26, 1934, in Tripoli, Libya, a colony of Italy at that time, to Giovanni and Francesa (Natale) Pertelesi and then resided in Fossacesia in Abruzzi, Italy.  He was the 5th of five boys (Nicole, Antonio, Remo, and Pierino).  In 1961, he married his loving wife Assunta and came to the United States making Peekskill, NY their home.

Quinto got his start working at the St. Joseph's Home in Peekskill, then as a laborer for Local 235 working in various locations including Indian Point.

He is survived by his loving wife, Assunta (D'Ovidio) Pertelesi, children Marisa and son-in-law Christopher Nadareski of New Paltz, NY, Ivana and son-in-law Joseph Gomez of Peekskill, NY.

He was the proud papa to Jacqueline (Brendan) Long, Joshua Gomez, Teresa (Stuart) Nygard, Benjamin Nadareski, and David Gomez.

He will forever be held dear in our hearts.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 17, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 10:00 am at Church of the Assumption, 920 1st Street, Peekskill, NY.

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 1055 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY 10567.
