It is with great sadness that we announce that Antonio Emilio Diaz passed away unexpectedly on October 5, 2023, at the age of 79. 

He was born to the late Pedro and Gloria (Torres) Diaz on April 21, 1944, in Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico. 

He has spent the last 40 years with his loving wife, Theresa Marie (Fatigate), and later his loving children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  A family man through and through, he spent most of his time singing and eating when he wasn't working or headed off to every supermarket in town. 

He enjoyed his life for the time he was here and we are grateful that he is in the hands of the Lord, reunited with his beloved son, Anthony, once again.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY.

Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at 10:15 am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY.

Private cremation to follow.
