Obituary of Blanca R. Figueroa

Blanca Rosa Figueroa left this world and entered the Kingdom of Heaven on December 25, 2023, at the age of 92.

She was born in Arecibo, Puerto Rico on July 26, 1931 to Ansermo and Juanita.

She left the Island, at the age of 27, to Philadelphia and soon after moved to New York and started her Family.

Blanca loved going to Church and serving God. She was a Eucharistic Minister for many years. She also enjoyed weekend trips with her Church family.

She will be missed tremendously. Although we will grieve her loss, let us celebrate and remember her life while knowing that she has transitioned from this life to Eternity with God in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband Carlos, their 2 children Nancy and Kevin, their 2 granddaughters Dana and Karissa, and her sister Berta.

Visitation will be held at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY on Friday, December 29, 2023, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Funeral Mass will be held at the Church of the Assumption 920 1st Street Peekskill, NY on Friday, December 29, 2023, at 11:30 am

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery
