In Loving Memory: Celebrating the Life of a Remarkable Woman

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Ann Boyle, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who touched the lives of all who knew her. Barbara peacefully departed this world on November 24th, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. While we grieve the loss of her physical presence, we find solace in celebrating the incredible life she led.

She was born on April 29th, 1945 in Peekskill, NY to Lorenzo Vito Gasparro and Lucia Anita Scivoletto Gasparro. She was raised in Poughkeepsie, NY with her brother Larry Gasparro, her sisters, Ginger Gasparro and Annette Gasparro before moving to Peekskill where she lived….

Golf was more than a pastime for Barbara; it was a passion that brought her immense joy and fulfillment. She embraced the challenges and triumphs of the game. Her love for golf was infectious, inspiring others to discover the beauty of the sport.

The greatest love of Barbara's life was her husband, Philip John Boyle. They shared a bond built on trust, respect, and unwavering support. Their love story was one of loyalty and companionship, and their journey together was filled with endless laughter, shared dreams, and a deep understanding of one another. Their love served as a shining example to all who were fortunate to witness it. Through marriage, Barbara met Philip’s sister Ann Winston who became a life long friend.

As a mother, Barbara poured her heart and soul into nurturing and guiding her children, Philip Boyle and Christine Richard Dubrisingh. Her unconditional love formed the foundation upon which they built their lives. She instilled in them values of kindness, empathy, and resilience, ensuring they would grow into compassionate individuals who make a positive impact on the world.

Barbara was a devoted grandmother whose love and care knew no bounds. Her grandchildren Michael and Meghan Dubrisingh, Richard and Alyssa Dubrisingh, Melissa Boyle, Daniel Boyle, and Tara and Maruf Hossain, and great-grandchildren Natalie Dubrisingh and Leo Dubrisingh were the light of her life. From joyful laughter-filled moments to heartfelt advice, she created cherished memories that will forever be treasured by her grandchildren.

Barbara touched numerous lives with her warmth and generosity. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, her ability to bring people together, and her unwavering love for her family and friends.

In our hearts, Barbara will forever remain an inspiration. As we bid her farewell, let us carry forward her legacy of love, compassion, and the pursuit of endless joy. May her spirit continue to guide and uplift us, reminding us to cherish the bonds we share with our loved ones and to embrace the joys that life has to offer.

Barbara is survived by her husband, two children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a wide circle of family and friends who will forever hold her dear.
