John V. Polinsky of Garrison, NY passed away on December 13, 2015. He was 68 years old. John was a retired Sheet Metal Worker for Local 38. He was born on June 3, 1947 in Peekskill to John E. and Mary Curran Polinsky. He graduated from Hendrick Hudson HS in 1965. John served in the US Army during the Viet Nam Era (1966-1968). On February 14, 1970 he married Eileen Cullen at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan. A car show enthusiast John showed his “Garnet Red 1940 Chevy” at many local area car shows. He is survived by his wife, Eileen Polinsky of Garrison, NY and two children; John (Tina) Polinsky of Crompond, NY and James (Kimberly) Polinsky of Crompond, NY. Also survived by three grandchildren; Sadie and John Polinsky and Iree Polinsky. Predeceased by two children; Edward and Michele Polinsky. Memorial service will be held Tuesday, Dec. 15th from 3pm to 7pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY.
