Anna M. Chase, a long-time Peekskill resident passed away on December 4, 2015. She was 99 years old.

Mrs. Chase had been a factory supervisor for Tensolite in Buchanan. Anna was born on, November 27, 1916 in Buchanan, NY to Stephen and Rose Osvaji Harbolic. She attended local schools and graduated from Hendrick Hudson High School. On December 31, 1936 she married Mervin Chase at St. Christopher’s Church in Buchanan. She was a communicant of the Assumption Church in Peekskill and had been involved in many church activities. She was also a member of the Peekskill Seniors. She is survived by a daughter, JoAnne Lounsbury of Venice, FL, four grandchildren; Marianne Sauter, FL, Richard Michael Wilke, Michigan, Stacy McKenzie-Grant, FL and Matthew Chase, NY. Also surviving are; eight great grandchildren; Courtney, Gavin, Joseph, Rowyn, Matthew, Samantha, Meryn and Simon, one sister, Catherine (Kitty) Heb of Cortlandt Manor, along with many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband Mervin Chase, a son Richard Chase, one brother, John Harbolic and three sisters; Margaret Kornbluth, Elizabeth Deak and Mary Tompkins.

Calling hours are Wednesday, Dec. 9th from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, Dec. 10th, 10am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
