Obituary of Diana Marie Turner
Diana Marie (DePalma) Turner, passed away surrounded by her family, on April 17, 2024, after a courageous battle. She is predeceased by her brother Augestine DePalma.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Wayne Turner of Peekskill; her sister Joyce and her husband Ron Hotaling of Ravena, NY; her brother Donald and his wife Karen Depalma of Chelmsford, MA; her son, Adam Turner of Peekskill; her daughter Allison and her husband Thomas Kotcher of Attleboro, MA; and her two grandchildren, and lights of her life, Riley and Madison Kotcher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, including Christopher, Kenny, Andrew, Laura, Rachel, and Kevin; as well as numerous loving cousins.
Diana was born on December 16, 1956, and raised in Peekskill, the daughter of Meda and Guy DePalma. She attended Assumption and Peekskill High School.
She worked as the manager at Moe's Stationary in Peekskill then devoted her life to raising her children and a number of other munchkins. She was a former 2nd Lieutenant and Life Member of PCVAC and a former President of Woodside Home-School Association.
She was loved by everyone and found a friend in everyone she met.
She will be greatly missed by all.
Visiting hours will be on Friday, April 19th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery,1033 Oregon Road, Cortlandt Manor, NY on Saturday, April 20th at 11:00 am.
