Meda Louise (Reichard) DePalma, affectionately known as "Meme", passed away quietly on May 2nd, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband, Guy, and her son, Augustine ("Augie"). She is survived by her daughter, Diana (DePalma) and her husband Wayne Turner of Peekskill; her son, Donald and his wife Karen McGayhey, of Chelmsford, MA; her grandchildren, Christopher and Kenny DePalma of Oklahoma; Adam Turner of Peekskill; Allison (Turner) and her husband Thomas Kotcher of North Attleboro, MA; Rachel DePalma and her husband Evan Storer of Tokyo, Japan; Kevin DePalma of Moscow, Idaho; and her great-granddaughter, Riley Kotcher, her brother Harold and Jane (Dahlke) and 5 nieces and nephews. Meda was born on August 4th, 1928 and raised in Peekskill, the daughter of Burton and Alexina Reichard. She attended Hendrick-Hudson High School. She worked as a cook at the Kwick-Mart Deli in Croton-on-Hudson, Croton-Harmon High School, and the Center Diner in Peekskill. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Visiting hours will be on Sunday May 6th from 2 to 4 PM and 7 to 9 PM. The funeral service will be held at Assumption Church on Monday May 7th at 10 AM.
