Obituary of Steven L. Travis

Steven Louis Travis Sr. passed away on June 5, 2024, in Cortlandt Manor, New York. He was born on January 2, 1956.

Steven was a family man and a hard worker throughout his life. In his career, Steven spent many years at CarQuest in Buchanan, where he formed lasting friendships and stayed connected with colleagues even after his retirement.

He held a second job to ensure his family's well-being, always putting their needs first.

Outside of work, Steven found joy in fishing and bowling. He was also a passionate Green Bay Packers fan and enjoyed it every time his team made it to the Playoffs. His commitment to his hobbies and interests reflected his unwavering loyalty and dedication.

Steven is survived by his wife, Mary Travis, his children Miranda Travis (Ismael), Samantha Mattioli (Christopher), and Steven Travis (Jennifer), as well as 11 grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.

A wake in memory of Steven will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home located at 414 Washington Street in Peekskill, NY. 

Steven's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his loved ones.
