Cristina Serino of Cortlandt Manor, NY, died Tuesday October 13, 2015 at the age of 80.
She was born March 14, 1935 in Italy, daughter of the late Eugene and Rosalia (Razza) Bizzarro. On February 8, 1964 she married Nazzaro Serino in Peekskill, NY.
Besides her husband Nazzaro, Mrs. Serino is survived by her son, Luigi Serino and his wife Tammy of Cortlandt Manor, NY, here daughter, Giulietta “Julie” Magill of Cortlandt Manor, NY, a brother Saverio Bizzarro, a sister Mary Lou Ripari and her grandchildren James Magill, Krista, Luigi Jr., Nicholas and Anthony Serino. She was predeceased by her two brothers, Giovani and Lorenzo Bizzarro and two sisters, Carmelina Capone and Franca Lanni.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 16, 2015, 10am at Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Cortlandt Manor. Calling hours will be held today (Thursday, October 15th) from 4 to 8 pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington St., Peekskill, NY.
Contributions in her memory may be made to the American Cancer Association or the Alzheimer’s Association.
