Obituary of Eugene J. Capicotto

Eugene J. “Gino” Capicotto Jr. of Verplanck, N.Y. passed away on April 22, 2018. He was survived by his wife Ann “Judy” Capicotto, his son and daughter-in-law Dr. and Mrs Michael Capicotto, his daughter, Gina Capicotto, his sister Laura Capicotto, his grandchildren Michaela, Gabriel, Izabela and Michael Jr., his niece Nichole and nephews Anthony and David. Gino was a motor equipment operator for the Town of Cortlandt for 37 years and was heavily involved in his union, serving as Regional Vice President for AFSCME. He was also a lifetime member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society in Verplanck, N.Y.. We will always remember Gino for his kindness, generosity and larger than life personality. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 between the hours of 4PM-8PM at Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be made in Gino’s name to the National Kidney Foundation www.kidney.org. Private Cremation service to follow.
