Janet A. Fanzo life-long area resident of Peekskill passed away on September 28, 2017. She was 87 years old. She was born on March 25, 1930 in Peekskill, NY to John and Grace Hadfield Clune. Janet attended the Assumption School and graduated from Peekskill High School. On January 21, 1951 she married Vincent Fanzo, Jr. at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Locally Janet was a member of the Peekskill Senior Citizens and the Ladies Auxiliary Elks Lodge 744. She is survived by her daughter Constance Daniels of Peekskill, formerly of Mahopac and her son Vincent (Donna Thomas) Fanzo, III of Coconut Creek, FL. Also survived by a sister, Marie Birdas of Peekskill. Predeceased by her husband Vincent Fanzo, Jr.
Visitation is Sunday, October 1st from 3pm to 8pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, October 2nd, 10am at the Assumption church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
