Anthony J. “Tony” Granuzzo age 82 of Putnam Valley, NY and Stuart, FL passed away on May 7, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Mr. Granuzzo was a Manufacturer who owned and operated A & J Washroom Products in New Windsor, NY from 1976 until 2010.
Tony was born in the Bronx on May 27, 1932 to Vincenzo and Rose Faiella Granuzzo. On February 16, 1952 he married Jayne Smith in St. Anthony’s Chapel at Immaculate Conception Church in the Bronx.
Tony was a past president, officer and proud member of the Christopher Columbus Society of Peekskill, an honorary member of the Shriners, a supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project and an honorary member of the NYPD Columbia Assoc. He was also a past member of the Cortlandt Yacht Club.
He is survived by his loving wife of sixty-three years, Jayne Granuzzo of Putnam Valley, NY and Stuart FL and five children; Robert “Bobby” Granuzzo of Putnam Valley, NY and Stuart, FL, Donna Granuzzo of Wappingers Falls, NY, John (Cathy) Granuzzo of Port St. Lucie, FL, James (Nanette) Granuzzo of Green Brook, NJ and Debra Salch of Port St. Lucie, FL. Eight grandchildren; Glen, Laura, Vincent, Melanie, Michelle, James, Emily and Peter. Eight great grandchildren; Evan, Kaiya, Cody, Leah, Anthony, Sophia, Aria and Trey. Also surviving are two brothers; Vito Granuzzo of Wappingers Falls and Vincent Granuzzo of Port St. Lucie, FL. Tony is also survived by his very special friend Frank Grecco, his wife Jeanette and their family of Mahopac.
Visitation is Wednesday, May 13th, 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 14th, 10:30am at Grace United Methodist Church, Putnam Valley, NY. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley, NY.
