Jeanette A. “Jeanie” Geraci of Peekskill, NY passed away on April 11, 2015. She was 78. Mrs. Geraci was the Personnel Director for Lehman College in the Bronx until she retired in 1999.

She was born on February 27, 1937 in the Bronx to Anthony and Vera Taranto Cicia. Jeanie earned a Bachelor’s degree from Mercy College. On October 26, 1957 she married Charles Geraci at Christ the King Church in the Bronx. Jeanie was a volunteer at Hudson Valley Hospital and at St. Christopher’s at Graymoor.

She is survived by three children; Lucille (Joe Miranda) Geraci, Charles (Joanne) Geraci and Mitch (Vickie) Geraci. Also survived by five grandchildren; Matthew (Rhianna) Geraci, Charles Geraci, Danielle Geraci, Jordan Geraci and Alex Geraci and a great granddaughter, Brianna Geraci. Predeceased by her husband Charles Geraci (July 24, 2011).

Visitation is Tuesday, April 14th, 7 to 9pm and Wednesday, April 15th, 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, April 16th, 10am at the Assumption Church in Peekskill. Interment will follow at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
