Thank you Nancy for all the years of wonderful care you gave my father when he moved to Cortlandt after becoming paralyzed. Your humour, strength, optimism and friendship played a major role in his own ability to carry forward with dignity and a strength and optimism of his own, so unusual for a man in his situation. You lightened his life when you came over, set the bar for him to rise above and, along with Brian were true friends to my father and his family. I think the encouragement he got from you helped him immensely to live for another 43 years, an unprecedented length of time, with a quality of life few paraplegics have. You were a genuinely altruistic caregiver anyone in need would have been blessed to have in his life. Sos sa tsíocháin.
