Robert Gerard “WEO” Hron of Peekskill, NY, passed away January 4, 2015. He was 60 years old. He was born September 28, 1954 in New York, New York. He was raised in the Bronx, and Cortlandt Manor, New York. He is survived by his mother Rita Hron, brother Bernard D. Kelly and sister-in-law Maryellen Kelly, sister Barbara Wheeler and brother-in-law Robert Wheeler, sister Patricia Hron, brother Christopher Hron, and sister Christine Hron Schettler and brother-in-law William Schettler. He is also survived by 3 nephews and 4 nieces. He was predeceased by his fathers Bernard D. Kelly and Walter H. Hron. He graduated from Walter Panas High School and worked as a bus driver for the Lakeland School District for many years. He also worked for the New York Power Authority and most recently drove for a car service company in Peekskill, New York. Bob was a fun loving guy with a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Visitation is Wednesday, January 7, 2015 from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday, January 8, 2015 10am at St. Columbanus Church, Cortlandt Manor. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
