Obituary of Nicholas A. Gaetano

Nicholas A. Gaetano of Peekskill, NY passed away at home on September 2, 2017. He was 75 years old. Mr. Gaetano was a Firefighter and Driver for the City of Peekskill. He was born on November 2, 1941 in Ossining to Nicholas and Elvira Tucceri Gaetano. On November 10, 1962 he married Joan Harbolic. Nicholas was a member of the Peekskill Elks Lodge 744, an avid golfer and member of the Mahopac Golf Club. He is survived by his beloved wife, Joan (Harbolic) Gaetano of Peekskill; two loving daughters, Krista Gaetano of Peekskill and Julie Gaetano of Peekskill. He was the cherished grandfather of, Brittanny (Luis) Torres, Nicholas Bizzarro and Giovanna Bizzarro, great grandfather of Talia, Guillianna and GianThomas. Also, survived by his sister Angela (Rich) Purdy. He will also be missed by his faithful companion Boo Bear his dog. Visitation is Wednesday from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery.
