Obituary of Christopher Vazeos

Christopher Vazeos age 49 of Putnam Valley, NY, passed away on July 11, 2014. Christopher was a 24 year veteran of the City of Peekskill Police Department. As a Police Officer he was dedicated to his job and the community. He is survived by his wife, Victoria (nee, Anderson) Vazeos of Putnam Valley and four children; Nicolas, Andriana, Angelo and Stavros Vazeos. His father, Evangelos Vazeos, his mother, Anna Vourliotis and a brother Tony Koutoukos. Also surviving are several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and fellow officers. Visitation is Wednesday, July 16th from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, July 17th, at 10am, St. Basil’s Academy, Garrison, NY. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Predeceased by his brother, Nicholas Vazeos and his grandmother, Andriana Askouni (June 8, 2014).
