Karen Platt of Peekskill, NY passed away on June 19, 2012. She was 53 years old. She was born on January 27, 1959 in Cold Spring, NY to William R. and Elizabeth Martin Hayes. Karen was an Operations Manager at Harrick Scientific Products in Pleasantville, NY. On July 10, 1993 she married Christopher Platt at Scarborough Presbyterian Church, Scarborough, NY.
Karen who lived life to the fullest is survived by her husband, Christopher Platt of Peekskill, a daughter, Cheryl Mascalino Seeley and her husband, Greg of Cohoes, NY and two grandsons Marcus and Austin who were her "pride and joy". Also surviving is a sister, Kimberly (John) Potts of Poughquag and two brothers; Gregory (Denise) Hayes of Hopewell Junction and Michael (Lou Ann) Hayes of Wappingers Falls, NY and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation is Saturday June 23, 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral Service will be held during visiting hours at 8 pm. Cremation Services Private.
