Carol A. Ackerman of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on January 15, 2012 with her loving family at her side. She was 70 years old. A homemaker, she was born on March 28, 1941 in the Bronx to John and Anna Kramer O’Connor.

Carol graduated from Hunter College with a Bachelor’s Degree in History. On October 18, 1969, she married Fred Ackerman in Yonkers, NY.

She is survived by her husband Fred Ackerman of Cortlandt Manor and two children; Robert Ackerman of Cortlandt Manor and Kathy Wilson and her husband Willie of Milford, CT and a grandson, Kiernan Wilson. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by: her sister, Maureen O’Connor and her brother John O’Connor and his wife Helen O’Connor.

Visitation is Tuesday, January 17th, 2-4 & 7-9 pm
