Obituary of Thomas James Daniele

Thomas James Daniele of Cortlandt Manor, NY passed away on July 20, 2011, he was 88 years old. Mr. Daniele was a Postal Clerk for the City of Peekskill Post Office. Tom was born on January 11, 1923 in Pittsfield, MA to Salvatore and Tommasina Tassone Daniele. He served in the US Air Force during WWII. On June 4, 1950 he married Eva Jespersen in Copenhagen, Denmark. Tom is survived by his wife Eva Daniele of Cortlandt Manor, four children; Grethe (Keith) Cobb of Bristol RI, Madeleine (John) Tepley of Palm City FL, Elisabeth Daniele of Peekskill and John Daniele of Cortlandt Manor and eight grandchildren. Tom was the last surviving sibling of five brothers and two sisters. Visitation is Monday morning, 10:30am until mass time at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill. Immediately following, a mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:30am, St. Columbanus Church, Cortlandt Manor. Interment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley.
