Gertrude K. Piehler of Peekskill, NY died unexpectly on Thursday, November 4, 2010. She was 78. Mrs. Piehler was born February 14, 1932 in Amberg, Germany to Anton and Katharina Maier Rupprecht. On September 24, 1955 she married Franz Piehler at the North American Martyr Chruch in Lake Peekskill, NY. She is survived by her husband Franz, her children Irene Morien, Frank and Peggy Piehler, Margaret and Michael Trainor, and Katrina Piehler. Her grandchildren Chelsey Morien, Karlie Morien, Curtis Piehler, Marlena Piehler, Kayla Piehler, Michael Trainor, Sean Trainor and Thomas Trainor. Her great grandchildren Isabella Patterson and Haylie Patterson and her brother Hans Rupprecht in Germany. Calling hours are at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill on Tuesday, November 9th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Church of the Assumption, Peekskill on Wednesday at 10am. Interment immediately following at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor. I miss you Mom. I know you'll always be with me. Rest your feet now. Katrina
