Obituary of Ninfa Bizzarro

Ninfa Bizzarro, formerly of Peekskill, NY passed away on October 27, 2017 in Charlotte NC. She was 74 years old. Ninfa was born in Palermo, Sicily (Italy) on June 4, 1943 to Francesco and Maria LoPiccolo. Prior to retiring, Ninfa worked as a Seamstress with her husband in their family owned and operated Dress Factory Business. She was a faithful parishioner of the Assumption Church in Peekskill, NY. Married on December 3, 1961, she was a devoted wife to Giovanni Bizzarro and an amazing mother and “Nonna” (grandmother). She was a very special, beautiful and loving person who affected all those who knew her. She is survived by her son’s Eugenio “Gino” and his wife Maria, Lorenzo and his wife Amy, her two sisters from Italy, Anna Ala, Wanda Noto, and five grandchildren Saverio, Savanna, Andrew, Giovanni, and Matteo Bizzarro. She is pre-deceased by her beloved husband Giovanni Bizzarro and her two cherished sons Saverio, and Francesco Bizzarro. Visitation is Monday, October 30th from 4pm to 8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, October 31st, 10am at the Assumption Church. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
