Sylvia Guidry of Goshen, NY, formerly of Peekskill and Cortlandt Manor passed away on October 19, 2007. She was 76. Mrs. Guidry was an Administrative Assistant for the New York Power Authority in Buchanan and White Plains, NY. She was born on January 31, 1931 in Forest City, PA to William and Rose Volk Steponaitis. Sylvia attended Pace University. On April 19, 1969 she married Ronald Guidry in Ramsey, NJ. She was a volunteer at Maryknoll Mission and within the Cursillo community, as well as a member of the Red Hat Society. She is survived by her husband Ronald of Goshen, NY and a son Paul and his wife Christine of Washingtonville, NY. Also survived by; two sisters Rosalia Mazzacone of Bristow, VA and Joan Cassidy of Poughkeepsie, NY and a granddaughter Morgan. Calling hours are Sunday 7-9 pm and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass is Tuesday, 10 am at St. Augustine’s Church. Interment to follow at St. Augustine Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Maryknoll Aids Project, Maryknoll, NY 10545, or Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, PO Box 27106, New York, NY 10087-7106. Joseph F.
