Mary DeFilippis of Peekskill, NY passed away on February 15, 2018. She was 85 years old. A homemaker, Mary was born on February 6, 1933 in Queens, NY to Maria and Adolfo Guiducci. On May 16, 1954 she married Victor DeFilippis of Flushing, NY. A loving and devoted mother and grandmother, Mary is survived by three children: Victor and his wife Theresa, Dino and his wife Carol and Maria and her husband Sal. She leaves behind three grandchildren: Michael, Victoria and Nicholas. She is also survived by her brother, Dino as well as many nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her husband Vic in 2002. Visitation will be held on, Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2-5pm & Monday February 19, 2018 from 2-4pm & 7-9pm at the JOSEPH F. NARDONE FUNERAL HOME, 414 Washington St., Peekskill, NY. A Vigil service will be held at 7:30pm Monday night prior to the conclusion of the visitation for the evening, and Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, February 20, 2018, at 10:00am at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Cortlandt Manor, NY. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Flushing, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association. https://www.lbda.org/donate.
