Obituary of Edward Broderick Jeter

Edward Broderick Jeter, Sr. It is with great sadness that the family of Edward Jeter announces that he passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at the age of 60 years in Poughkeepsie, NY. Eddie was born on February 18, 1957 in Tuskegee, AL. Eddie served and was honorably discharged from the 82nd Airborne Division of the US Army, serving from 1975 to 1981. Eddie was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling, spending time with family, and taking photos. Eddie was loved by family and friends across the country: from Alabama, Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, Ohio, New York, and Virginia. He is survived by his children Edward, Keri (fiancé Wayne Lewis), January, and Clinton (wife Beth); sisters Cynthia, Farida, and Terri; brothers Waymon and Lamont; nieces Adriana, Bella, Jennifer, Jessica, Kaitlyn, and Tiffany; nephews Curtis, Juwan, Michael, Robert, Samuel; countless cousins and extended family. He will be forever remembered by his 8 grandchildren: Kaidlin, Brianna, Noah, Savannah, Ava, Molly, Nicholas, and Claire. Eddie was predeceased by his father Edward T., his mother Vivian, his stepfather Gene, and brother Ronald. Visitation, Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2pm to 5pm at the Joseph F.
