Charles A. Gentile, of Briarcliff Manor, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 30, 2018. He was 87 years of age. Charlie hails from Staten Island and is the last scion of his clan. He was a USMC veteran and a friend to all who knew him. In addition to being a world traveler, Charlie was an avid hobbyist, involved with flying model antique airplanes, and as a Citizens Band operator (CB operator #WA2WGJ). Charlie was recognized for his charitable generosity and he will be missed by his neighbors and friends.
Memorial Service will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Thursday, September 6, 2018. From 10:00am to 12:00pm.
Interment to follow at the Assumption Cemetery.
