Obituary of Alyce B. Picariello

On Thursday October 11, 2018, Alyce B. Picariello passed away surrounded by her family. Born on Feb 23, 1926 in Gloversville, NY to William and Esther Van der Sluys, Alyce was formerly of Peekskill, NY.  She was predeceased by husband, Carmine, daughter, Susan, and son, Charles.  Survived by Marianne Picariello, Bruce Picariello (Christal), Michael Picariello (Cheri), and Alyce Lashley (Charles).  Grandmother of Jennifer, Matthew, Charles, Mark, Cheryl, Latasha, Fiona, Jessica, Andrew, Dean, Alyssa and great-grandmother to Ashante, Jaydhen, Londyn, James, Milania, Anthony, Brian, Danielle, Cole, Zion.  And many nieces and nephews. 

Alyce was a licensed cosmetologist and worked at Readers Digest for many years.  She was a member of Catholic Daughters of America and Centennial Ladies Auxiliary and a parishioner of the Assumption Church.  

Alyce touched many lives and will be missed by all. 

Visitation Will be held at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm

Chapel Service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, October 17, at 11:00am

Interment to follow at the Assumption Cemetery
