Obituary of Alice Maier

Alice Maier of Fishkill, NY passed away in her home May 26, 2017. She was 94 years old. Alice was born on September 3, 1922 in Yonkers, NY to Edward and Delia Sheehan. Alice was a long time employee at the Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla. After her retirement, she was an avid member of the Cortland Senior Center. Alice is survived by her daughter Marilyn Baginski and her husband Peter of Cortlandt Manor, NY and daughter-in-law Pat Lankester. She was predeceased by her first husband Leslie H. Lankester Sr., and her second husband Howard Maier. Also predeceased by her son Leslie Lankester and grandson Brian Lankester, her three brothers Timothy, Edward and Arthur Sheehan and her sister Mary Howard. One of her greatest joys was being a grandmother "NAN" to her grandchildren; Bridget (George) Gallaher, Kevin (Sharon) Baginski, Paul (Leah) Baginski and Alicia (Adam) Lyons. Her great-grandchildren; Christopher, Amanda, and Fallyn Gallaher, Niklas, Sebastian and Peyton Baginski, Julia and Ian Lyons. Nan, your life was full of loving deeds. Forever thoughtful of our special needs. Today and tomorrow, our whole lives through, we will always love and cherish you.
