Michael J. Gaetani Obituary
Michael J. Gaetani of Peekskill, NY, formerly of No. Bennington, VT passed away on April 16, 2017 at the age of 100 years old. Prior to retiring, Mr. Gaetani had worked for 35 years as a Supervisor for Johnson Controls in Bennington, VT. He was born on June 12, 1916 in Roslindale, MA to Luigi and Agnes DeBenedictis Gaetani. He served in the Merchant Marines from 1944-1945. On November 4, 1951 Michael married Helen Gioiosa in Medford, MA. He is survived by his daughter, Janice Proud of Peekskill, two grandchildren; Lucas and Jessica Proud and a great granddaughter, Lana Elizabeth Proud. Also survived by two sisters; Theresa Navarro and Rose Walsh. Visitation is Friday, April 21st from 5pm to 9pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, Peekskill, NY. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 22nd, 10am at the funeral home. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Verplanck
