Dalton R. Tompkins, age 24, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017. He was employed as a waste handler at Wheelabrator in Peekskill. Dalton was born on June 9, 1992, the son of Theresa Bittal Tompkins and Daniel Tompkins. His family said that he loved his friends and family, as well as the NY Yankees. But most of all he cherished his daughter, Christina. Besides Christina, and her mother, Mary, he is also survived by his mother and father, Daniel and Theresa Tompkins, a brother, Jason, his grandparents, Walter and Margaret Bittal, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Friends may call on Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home from 4-8PM. A Funeral Service will take place during the Visitation hours, at 7:15PM. Private Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers Memorial Donations in Dalton's name may be made to "Drug Crisis in our Backyard", at drugcrisisinourbackyard.org
