Otto H. Gazzigli, a resident of Peekskill, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2017. He was 82. Mr. Gazzigli was a repair and maintenance worker for the Lakeland School District. He was born in Port Chester on March 20, 1934 to Louis and Muriel Merritt Gazzigli. He served his country honorably in the US Army from 1952 -1955, attaining the rank of Sargeant 1st Class. On July 7, 1958 he married Barbara Rozmus in Port Chester. She survives, and resides in Peekskill. Mr. Gazzigli is also survived by his sons Scott (Douglas McNally) Gazzigli, of Newburgh, Daniel (Stephanie) Gazzigli, of Shrub Oak, and Christopher Gazzigli, of Garrison. He also has 2 grandchildren, Laura and Christopher Gazzigli, a daughter-in-law, Jodi Gazzigli, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by a son, Jeffrey Gazzigli, a sister Joyce, his mother, Muriel and stepfather Everett Slater. There will be a Funeral Service on Friday, February 24, 2017, at 10AM at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, where friends may call on Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9PM. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
