Obituary of Marie F. Salerno

Marie F. Salerno, age 98, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at Emerald Peak Nursing and Rehab Facility. She was the widow of William Salerno. They were married in 1979 at Assumption Church. He died in 2004. Marie was born on June 1, 1918, the daughter of Ignatious and Emma Rada Frenza. She worked as a Caterer at Colonial Terrace, in Cortlandt Manor. She is survived by a Step-daughter, Florence Hill, a step daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Salerno, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her nieces, Rosalie Whitehead and Rosemarie (Donald) Brown, and a nephew, Jesse Stackhouse. Besides her husband, she is also predeceased by 2 stepsons, Louis, and William Salereno, Jr. Visiting is on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 9-11AM, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at the Funeral Home, and Burial at Assumption Cemetery.
