I will miss my Aunt. I told her many times that if I didn't have my Mother, I would want her to be mine. She was a larger-than-lif e figure that was loving and dedicated. As you go through life, you seldom meet someone like her and those who were knew her were blessed in many ways....my life, especially so.
My Aunt got us started on a tradition where every year we would get together and send up balloons for those who had passed away over the years. Each year, bigger and bigger balloons (her idea). In the last year, we upgraded to latex weather balloons with colorful lights inside...going up at night. In a few days I will send one to heaven for my Aunt and it will be a 6 foot diameter one. Her tradition will go on, along with her example of how to live. Eric
