My great grandma was an amazing person,who loved her family. She had a lot of love in her heart. She would always tell me story’s and say how much she loves me. She is now is heaven with her husband and is with god. She is now really happy and joyful. I’m her great granddaughter Alyssa

Aunt Clara and Uncle Tony were my Godparent's and were always special and loving to me. Aunt Clara always loved all the children with warm hugs and smiles. She greeted everyone with a "hi honey come on in and sit, Do you want coffee? etc" She loved her boys and then was crazy about all her grandson's and was lucky enough to have met her beautiful great grand daughter's. God Bless her sonJames for caring for her for so long. She lived a full life and will be welcomed by God into heaven as the angel she was on Earth. She was the end of an era of the Carbone's as the last survivor of my Father's family of his sibling's and their spouse's. The macaroni and gravy are ready just waiting for them all to share. Don't forget the grated cheese.

Mom Clara genuinely loved her family, and I was honored to meet her 8+ yrs ago. She welcomed me immediately & was elated when I became James’ fiancé! She kept me close, shared stories, heartaches & her opinions. She loved her grandchildren and embraced mine as well. She shared many holidays in my home and always managed to keep us laughing. She was a remarkable lady. Her final days will forever be etched in my mind. As I crawled into bed with her and wrapped my arms around her the night before she passed....I shared with her the stories of her family that she had shared with me! I named all her sons & grandkids & restated how much she was loved. I talked about her Sunday dinners and “her sauce” that none can duplicate, her church, her job, her baby sister (Gloria). I talked & she listened. Her room was filled with a quiet peace. She was my friend, my inspiration ..... my Mom. I miss her terribly.

Aunt Clara was always smiling....she was a beautiful and kind hearted soul. She always had enough food for one more person at the dinner table. Since she had sons, there was time spent with her many nieces. I will miss you...

I will always remember how she went out of her way on Christmas, to make sure ALL of her grandchildren had the best time EVER.. she used to take me on bus rides to the mall and we would walk down Main st..in peekskill to get something to eat..The best times of my life ,growing up where spent on Sundays when the whole family would get together and have dinner..Nobody to this day can make sauce like she did..you'll always be loved and forever missed..i love you and thank you gram ..For EVERYTHING
