Obituary of Donald Nester

On July 28, 2019 Don lost his 6 year battle with COPD. Don was a loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Milagros, daughter; Shona, son; Ryan, stepson; Josh, grandchildren; Timothy, Jeffrey and Marshall, sister; Patricia and brother; David.

Donald cherished friends and family. He was highly respected and valued by coworkers at B&H PHOTO.
Don's true passion was photography and has produced a prolific collection of photos in various techniques. His creativity kept everyone who knew his work aniticipating his next collection.
He was also a historian and combined his love of history with his research of the chambers in Putnam County, dubbing himself "Putnam Jones".

Life with Don was always exciting. In the past 10 years Don also joined his wife in avid cat rescue adoption resulting in a family of 9 cats.
Don leaves a legacy of love, creativity and gentleness.

A memorial service celebrating Donalds life will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm
