Have fond memories of your mom and your family growing up in Continental Village. We all played harder back then and spent a lot of time outdoors, getting bee stings, cuts and bruises. I remember getting fixed up by "Mrs. Bolte" more than once. Mr. Bolte, as well, was always ready to lend a hand, down at the lake shoveling snow off the ice for skating. Fire dept. events, bake sales, parades. Those were the days, with great neighbors. The memory video is wonderful, a treasure trove. Loved seeing the familiar faces from childhood and special events of the Bolte family. And wow -- the next generation, seeing all the grandchildren that no doubt brought your mom much joy. Please know Henry is also thinking of you guys at this time of great loss. He’s really glad he got to see your mom a few years back. She was an amazing, strong woman, to be admired, sad for you all.

Our hearts and prayers go out to the Bolte's. Aunt Dot was an great lady. Always so positive and smiling whenever I saw her. What an amazing feat to raise 7 children after Uncle Teddy's passing. Her family is such a great reflection of her love for all of you. We were lucky to know her. The O'Connors of New Hampshire pass along our condolences to Mark, Kyle, Terri, Michael, Alyce, Barbara and Dana and your spouses and grandchildren and great grandchildren. The last of a great generation will be sorely missed.
We love you all.

There are some people in life that you just always expect to be around, Mrs. Bolte was one of those people. I've known her almost as long as I've known my own mother. Being best friends with her daughter Alyce for over 50 years, has given me an abundance of treasured memories.
Mrs. Bolte was very patient, she must have answered the phone over 1000 times back in the 70's, while I asked if Alyce could come out and play. Mrs. Bolte was very generous, everyone in the village knew that she gave out the best candy on Halloween... full size chocolate bars! She was a sweet, and caring woman who had an extremely strong spirit. She was an incredible example of how to navigate life's trials and tribulations, with grace. I will forever be grateful to this very beautiful woman, after all, she gave me my best friend.

I grew up next door to the Boltes, and Barbara and Dana were my playmates. Mrs. Bolte was always the sort of kind neighbor I could count on for help, whether I'd fallen and hurt myself, or managed to lock myself out of my house when my parents weren't home. After my mom died, and my dad was living alone, it was a huge comfort to me to know he had such a good neighbor looking out for him. In 2016, when I was expecting a call from dad and he didn't call, and I couldn't reach him, I did the obvious thing, and called Mrs. Bolte, and asked her to go check on him. Unfortunately, that meant she was the one to find him gone--- it must have been awful for her. I don't know how I would have gotten through the months after that without her help---she picked up the mail at my parents house every day, got her grandsons to take care of the yard, and let me use her trash, as I attempted to sort through everything my parents had accumulated in 50+ years, and was just there to listen when the process of dealing with the house and my parents' things got to be too much for me. She was a terrific person, and I am sure will be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs.Bolte as she was known to me since meeting her when I attended school with several of her children. Later on in life I was fortunate to have her son Dana to become my brother in law. I always enjoyed family gatherings where I was one of the lucky ones to enjoy her memorable stories and her wisdom. She always had a funny story, and I loved how she loved telling those stories. She will be greatly missed by those like myself who were fortunate enough to know a great spunky, funny lady!

Sending heartfelt condolences to all the Bolte family. Dot was a beautiful person. I remember being amazed even as a kid that the Bolte's had 7 children. Dot was a great mom and wonderful person. Whenever I'm back in the Village and walk or drive down to the Lake, I think of Dot and the whole Bolte family. I always will. Sending love to you all.
