Kathy, I am so sorry for your loss and for your children as well. You all were very blessed to have such a great man as husband and father! He was one of the nicest men I have ever had the pleasure of knowing! His smile was infectious! If you wanted to have someone coach your kid in baseball, John was the best! He had all of the right tools and was a student of the game he loved. His gentle manner with kids was so evident to all he coached and coached with! I have met very few people in my life like him, he has in deed left a great legacy! It is my hope a prayer that you all will find peace and comfort in the memories of a really good man!
