One word describes Shirley: love. She loved the Lord, her husband and family. She always welcomed us into their beautiful home and went all-out to make things special for everyone. Aunt Shirley will always be remembered for her care, hospitality, and most of all her love for her family. I will miss her graciousness as well as the warmth she always expressed when we talked. Thankful for her life and grateful that she is now enjoying her eternal rest in heaven with our Savior. Love, Tami (niece)

I was thirteen when Bob & Shirley were married & I was certain that Shirley was the most beautiful woman in the world...a vision in white. As the years revealed, she showed herself to be beautiful in all respects. She was kind, a loving mother, meticulous homemaker and a cook/baker that very few can equal. I will greatly miss her warmth and genuine hospitality that she always shared with all. God bless you Shirley as you rest in the presence of Our Lord and Savior. / Paul
