It’s only when you grow up and step back from him — or leave him for your own home — it’s only then that you can measure his greatness and fully appreciate it.
There is no other way to start this. Reflecting on the time we shared together, I am thankful! I have learned so much from you. Everything from how to hold a hammer, how to read a tape measure, all the way to how to be strong through rough seas.
One of the most important lessons that I learned was that nothing comes easy in life. The only way to achieve your goals is to focus on them and work hard to accomplish them. Additionally, something else that I hold true to this day is this: nessuna parola significa niente a meno che non siano dette in faccia. Se le persone stanno parlando dietro la schiena, tutto questo significa che siete due passi davanti a loro. Tutti sono un ragazzo duro, finché un ragazzo duro non entra nella stanza.
We all love you very much! Cheryl, Isabella, Domenick and I are going to miss you so much but we know we have gained another guardian angel. Please help guide us and look after us when the sea of life gets rough.
It’s time for you to set sail, into the open ocean of Heaven. Pain free, worry free. I know you and Mom will have a blast on your eternal cruise with the most beautiful views. Stand tall, stand proud. Until we meet again Dad. Your memory will live on as we will never forget the time we have spent together. We love you and may you rest in peace.
