Obituary of Paul Rocco Trongone

Paul Rocco Trongone, age  61, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 26^th at North Westchester Restorative in Cortlandt Manor, NY.  He was a courageous and tough brain tumor warrior fighting a two decade long battle. Paul married Sally Ann Woods on June 24, 1995. Together they had a son, Paul Angelo Trongone, whom he devoted his life.   Family was everything to him and he was a loving dedicated son to his parents.

Paul was a chemistry teacher at Walter Panas High School for over 30 years and an Officer of the Lakeland Federation Teachers’ Union. Paul was known by many to be a home wine maker winning amateur competitions for his “PACORED”.  For many years family were invited each fall to help make the wine creating legendary lifetime memories. Some of his favorite times were to play Friday afternoon Bocce on his court at home with his fellow teachers. 

He is survived by his wife, Sally Ann Trongone and son Paul Angelo; mother, Bianca (Morabito), predeceased by dad Angelo; brother Angelo (predeceased); sisters Elena (Carl) Champagne and Gina Trongone; nieces Elena Champagne and Angelina Trongone.

Family will be receiving friends on Sunday, September 30^th from 4-8pm at the Joseph F. Nardone Funeral Home, 414 Washington Street, Peekskill, NY

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10am, Holy Name of Mary Church, 110 Grand Street, Croton on Hudson, NY

Interment to follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Bronx, NY.
